After so many years I decided to finally join the mainstream of blogging (maybe an incy bit late) and experimenting all my baked goods online.
To get to know me a little better – for the followers that won’t just be my friends supporting me ;-), I’ve had a sweet tooth my whole life. Since I moved from Florida to Prague at the age of 10 I missed all the deliciously overpoweringly sweet cheesecakes, cookies, brownies, cupcakes you can get in America. The Czech Republic didn’t use to sell these amazing treats at cafe’s or supermarkets up until just a few years back. That lead me to start baking at home to curb my cravings! I was pretty proud of myself when most of my cakes turned out edible after minimum practice. It then became my passion and hobby, obviously not a healthy one at all….
Now I’ve been living in London for the last 3 years and this city has an incredible diverse café culture. The biggest boom is not only a gluten free or dairy free world but mainly REFINED SUGAR FREE. Which is a mission to achieve, but does work!
Now only how can you make a carrot cake without sugar that doesn’t taste like rabbit food? That’s my quest.. well not always. A little treat never hurt anyone, right?
And why do I have a coffee cup in my logo? Because I believe coffee and cake are the best combination there is.. ❤️
