Coconut Chia Goodness

The best protein packed snack I discoverd to curb sugar cravings is chia seeds soaked in coconut & rice drink and you can add whatever other flavorings you want! 

If I can, I tend to put coconut into everything I can – smoothies, proats and on rice cakes. Obsessed šŸ¤—

This goodness is super easy to whip together literally in 2 minutes and then refrigerate for later. 

 Basically all you need is:

3 tbsn chia seeds

1/2 cup of milk of your choice (I used unsweetened almond and coconut so far)

1 tspn desiccated coconut

1 tbsn crunchy peanut butter

1 tspn sunflower seeds

drop of vanilla extract 

Just mix ingredients together in a bowl or jar and refrigerate for up to 4 hours.

I have tried mashing a banana and adding a few raspberries too. Any fruit will work!

And of course an afternoon snack can’t miss it’s coffee ā˜•ļøšŸ˜  

Chia seeds are very versatile. They can be used in baking as an egg replacement if soaked in water. If you want to gain the full benefits of these seeds, make sure you soak them for a few hours before eating. They puff up and keep you fuller for longer.
